Our Team
Robin Anderson
As part owner of Revive Wellness Inc, as well as a registered Dietitian, Robin is invested in her clients. She educates and empowers them to reach good health.Spending most of her 20 years experience in private practice, her interests lie in weight management and sports nutrition. Also a seasoned speaker, Robin brings informative and engaging presentations on health and wellness to groups across Canada.
After receiving her B.Sc. in foods and nutrition from the University of Alberta, she completed her internship at the Misericordia Hospital. She also holds certificates in adult education, solution-focused counselling, child and adolescent obesity and motivational interviewing.
In 2005 Robin was certified in Emotional Brain Training (EBT), and remains the only Canadian trainer of this unique solution to emotional, mindless and stress eating.
Robin keeps busy outside of work as well, challenging herself at the gym, hiking in the River Valley, travelling with family and entertaining—whew!
Melanie Jaques
Melanie brings nine years of experience to Revive. Her previous work with a variety of clinical and community-based programs helped focus her nutrition coaching on weight management, body image and eating disorders. She also works with athletes to help maximize their nutrition to improve performance.Helping others achieve personal goals prompted Melanie to gain an Emotional Brain Training certification. With this, she helps clients get to the root of their emotional or stress eating and body issues.
Melanie earned her bachelor of human ecology at the University of Manitoba in 1999 and completed her internship with Capital Health Authority the following year.
As a long distance runner, Melanie completed a variety of distances from 10K to a full marathon. She also loves gardening in the sunshine!
Dena Ferretti
Her focus is on sports nutrition coaching, weight management and corporate wellness, incorporating practical ways for clients to eat healthy.
She also conducts academic research, in both population studies and literature reviews.
Dena earned a B.Sc. in psychology from the University of Victoria and a BSc. with distinction in nutrition from the University of Alberta.
Dena also wears another hat at Revive—business development. She brings over 10 years experience in the field, having worked with a major food vendor and an internet software company.
When not reading journal articles, Dena enjoys trying new recipes, training for a ½ marathon and painting with acrylics. (The brighter the color the better!)
Loreen Wales
Loreen's belief in health and wellness drives her practice. As part owner of Revive, her enthusiasm is evident.She brings 13 years of experience to Revive, working in clinical settings for 9 years.
Having witnessed the detrimental effects of chronic disease on health, Loreen focuses her practice on prevention and overall well-being.
In addition, she provides educational and engaging presentations to corporations, helping them optimize their employees' health and wellness. She is also a recurring guest on Shaw TV.
Loreen holds a B.Sc. in food and nutrition and a BA in psychology, both from the University of Alberta. She completed her internship at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon
When she's not inspiring her clients, Loreen explores life with her husband and two young children. She loves the outdoors, pursuing both mountain biking and hiking.
Lalitha Taylor
With five plus years as a registered Dietitian, Lalitha brings experience in the management of chronic disease as well as weight control. Before joining Revive three years ago, Lalitha worked at the University of Alberta Hospital in nephrology. She also volunteered in Peru and South Africa.
Lalitha holds a B.Sc. in nutrition and food science from the University of Alberta, completing her internship with the David Thompson Health Region and Royal Alexandra hospital.
Passionate about cooking, Lalitha loves to experiment with recipes. She also spends time outdoors walking, biking and running after her toddler and dog!
